Sup ya’ll! Today we are jumping back on the topics in this newsletter from a couple weeks back. It’s about the 9 steps to making money online.

There are lots of ways to die as an entrepreneur or a business owner.

One of the worst ways is being a commodity.

It basically means you are literally copying someone else and being super duper general with all your messages.

Like:

“I help with marketing”

“I ghostwrite”

“I’ll help you get more leads”

“I help people lose weight”

Blah, blah, blah, blah… So generic. If this is you, congratulations! You are competing with all the other average online entrepreneurs.

You know what happens when you compete instead of lead your market? You and the thousands of business owners are picking up the scraps left to you by the big dawgs… And you are so commoditized that you all are dropping the cost of your program/service just to get a client. In the end… no one wins.

WHO ARE YOU LOOKING TO HELP??

Like who is it really? Not just entrepreneurs, not just writers, not just women, not just coaches…. Who is really the person?

Here’s what it should look like for example:

• 30-55 year old straight male

• Makes at least 100k per year

• Business owner

• Athletic, into sports and working out

• Divorced or Widowed

• Tired of dating the wrong women

• Conservative political views

If you have a program to help this avatar get more meaningful dates that will lead to a long term relationship… YOU GOT A WINNER.

You can even go deeper than this. I only named a few things. The more zeroed in you can get about who your offer is for, the more clear your message will be and the more money you’ll make.

Imagine if you are a guy that fits that criteria perfectly and you see a message online calling out for you specifically with a solution. You’d think “wow this person is literally talking about me, let’s check it out”.

That’s where the magic happens. You’ll be in the very minority of entrepreneurs whose message gets seen and noticed.

Please don’t be a commodity. That’s a sure way to waste lots of time and money without a result.

When you call out the specific avatar and it’s a perfect match, they will pay you 10 out of 10 times because you spoke to THEM specifically.
