🥕 Are you wearing a blindfold?

It’s Sunday!

Bet you weren’t expecting this Wise ol Carrot in your inbox today.

I know it’s Sunday but you’ll thank yourself for reading this one.

Let me just say this…

If you’re not doing this ONE thing, then you can say “bye bye” to future business.

Are you wearing a blindfold?

This newsletter today may show a little bit of tough love, but that’s only because I care.

Over the years, there’s been one BIG crucial mistake that many online business owners make.

“What’s that?” You ask…

Well have you ever heard of the saying…

“Preparation and planning prevents piss poor performance?”

If you haven’t, then no problem, but stay with me.

If you’re sitting down, reading this without knowing what you’re aiming for or what you’re going to do next week to grow your business, then after this read, go and do what I’m about to tell you.

Your future self will thank you for it.

Let’s plan your week shall we?

Let me introduce you to the TTRS method.

This is a planning method that’s helped our clients effectively bring in new business each day, week, month and year like clockwork.

It stands for:

- To do’s
- Targets
- Radar
- Study

To Do:
Your to do list should consist of the projects and tasks which you need to get done in your business for this coming week.

This could be:
- Working out your ideal client
- Putting together a new offer framework
- Revamping your social media presence
- Optimise your backend delivery systems
- Etc.

You get the gist

It’s not necessarily a target, but it’s a project that you need to complete to move the needle in your business.

Once done, you want to then look at your “Targets”

Targets:
This is where we need to identify what our goal is for the week.

This could mean:
- Signing up X amount of clients
- Collecting X amount of revenue in your business
- Etc.

Once we’ve identified what we’re looking for, we then need to breakdown what we need to do on a daily basis in relation to what targets to hit.

This could be the following:

- How many DM’s do you need to send per day?
- How many follow ups do you need to send per day?
- How many call offers do you need to send per day?
- How many calls do you need to book?
- How many sales do you need to make?
- How much cash do you need to collect and contract on those calls?

Having optics over these leading KPI’s will determine whether you are able to bring in new business or not.

If you’re aren’t tracking these metrics in your business now, then start.

The next piece to the TTRS method is “Radar”

Radar:
Now “radar” basically means a task or project that’s important but not necessarily urgent.

This means that if you can get to it this week, then fantastic, you’re ahead of the curb, but if not, the world isn’t going to end ya know?

So a few examples of a “radar” task might be the following:

- Change cover photo on social media
- Change profile picture on social media
- Design a new eBook
- Optimise your website loading speed
- Change payment processor

These tasks aren’t what I would class as “Needle movers” but they are important, just not urgent, so get clear on your radar list.

Finally we are going to cover the “Study” piece.

Study:
Study simply means what it says, it’s what you want to study this week.

You may want to consider learning a new skill, developing a current skill, or even learning more about your industry.

You can look and absorb information from places like books, courses, podcasts or even YouTube videos.

It’s just something you want to learn more about.

Once you have these, you then want to assign each task, project and work block inside of your calendar to structure your time effectively for maximum productivity.

And that’s all folks.

If you’re wondering what tool I use to plan my days, weeks, months and years for success and scalability, then I’ll leave a link below.

I decided to create my very own planner as I found the ones out there on the marketplace right now are disorganised and not specifically tailored for business growth, more so the general usage.

So here’s the planner I use daily and one I’d suggest if you’re serious about growing your online business.
