My belief is that health always comes before business. And it should be that way, because if you are not healthy - your business will suffer as you can’t give it your all.

A study in 1978 followed about 3000 men for 8 years to discover something interesting. Half of the men where Type A and the other half Type B.

Here were the characteristics of Type A:

• Competitive

• Time Urgent

• Aggressive

The characteristics of Type B:

• Relaxed

• Patient

• Easy Going

After the extensive study was complete, the researchers found one very interesting discovery.

More than TWICE of Type A ended up with heart disease vs Type B.

They concluded that the stressful nature of Type A has caused their health to deteriorate. If that’s not a reason to slow down a bit and smell the flowers… I don’t know what is.

Who’s Your Daddy…

I absolutely love this story and it’s a great reminder that you can make money with the simplest of things - just done differently.

If you have watched Shark Tank, you are likely familiar with Scrub Daddy. 

Aaron Krause came on the show with a humble dish scrubber. Is scrubbing dishes with a coarse sponge a new invention? Of course not.

But it is if you make it a smiley face! The yellow sponge became an instant hit and Aaron secured a deal that day.

Since then Scrub Daddy has developed many more types of scrubbers including a make-up scrubby.

The company is worth over 220 million dollars.

Super impressive. Is there something that you use on a daily basis that you can add your own flare to?

Want An Audience?…

Let me wrap this one up with a few thoughts.

I see so many people trying to grow their social media accounts by trying to sound like a big shot. You know why you haven’t grown them?

Because you are not a big shot and people aren’t stupid.

You know what will grow a following super quick?

Being you. However small, inexperienced and boring.

People want REAL. The stuff that you ACTUALLY go through on the daily basis. No one needs the glamour version of it. They want the raw, honest truth.

If you have a desire to grow an account on X for example, post about exactly that… Your journey… What you are trying… What the results are… How it’s affecting your outlook on future strategies.

Be you. That’s what they want. You’ll build a REAL audience who follow you because they are interested in YOU. That’s the best kind of audience.
