I don’t think you’d be reading this unless you wanted to be successful. So because the right crowd is here, let’s discuss 4 things that you have to accept and understand to be successful.

1. Business ideas are useless unless you have an actionable plan to get it done day in and day out. I much rather bet on an entrepreneur who is hungry with an average idea, versus someone who is all over the place but actually has a great idea. Execution is where business is made or broken.

2. If the business fails, it’s always your fault. It’s not the economy, it’s not the resources, it’s not the market… It’s you, every time. Best thing you can do with a failure is to realize why it did, learn from it and implement those lessons in the future businesses. I’ve failed many many times before I hit success. But when I did, all those failures helped imensely.

3. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. You may not like it but that’s just the reality. And the reason why that happens is because of the habits of each party. The rich know how to get rich and the habits are there to keep accumulating more money. The poor do all the opposite things that the rich do, with bad habits. That’s why they stay there. The sooner you realize this and learn from the rich, the better off you’ll be.

4. Once you get to this level, where you can invest your earnings to get more money, you’ll realize that you “can’t beat the market” every year. Just like with anything else, there are years where you’ll be super profitable in your investments (almost feel invincible), and others you’ll be losing money. If you believe in the stock or the company you invested in, you need to stay in for the long haul (7-10 years) for best results.

These simple lessons took me years to realize and even more years to fully implement.

If you understand them now, you are already ahead of 99% of your competitors.
