Hey and happy Friday ya’ll

🥕 If I Were To Start My Journey Tomorrow… 🤔

Every entrepreneur’s journey is different.

Some grow up in incredible families that get them off on the right foot. Some get lucky in the circles they are in, where money comes easy. Some are in the right place and in the right time.

Others grow up in poor, negative environments (me)… And struggle for years before finally catching their first success.

You see some snot-nosed kid make his first million at 19, while a 45 year old slaved away all his life to finally catch his break.

It’s all different for everyone and you should never compare yourself to anyone. Your journey will be unique on its own.

After the success I’ve had, I too now have perspective and what I would do if I were to start my journey again… from scratch, as a young adult.

  1. Find and fall in love with a business that has a higher ticket per sale. You can sell gum for $1 or a jet plane for $40m. If you are going to get good at selling something at a young age, sell something expensive. It’s just easier to become wealthy that way.

  1. Find a group of people (business owners) who are in the industry that sells the high ticket items/services. Beg, cry and convince them to take you on as a mentee in the space. If it’s unpaid, so what. If it’s paid, you’ve hit the goal mine. Become the best person they can rely on, in any situation… Grow to be the right hand man for these individuals and learn the business inside/out.

  1. While you are working for/with these business owners… Sharpen your mental and physical abilities. Stay in shape, eat properly and spend MOST of your free time going deep into the weeds on how to market, sell and deliver the best experience. You need to know all the ins and outs of the industry that will one day make you very rich.

  1. Put away as much money as you can and stay financially lean. This will help you tremendously once you are ready to go on your own. In the meantime, let everyone of the big dogs know that you want to one day be like them and make a lot of money in the same industry. What advice would they have for you? Could they help you get going? Bankroll your first deals?

  1. This process alone should take you at the very least 3-5 years. Do not rush into this. You’ll have plenty of time to make a lot of money. Pay your dues first. You’ll know when there will be an opportunity to launch your business career.

If you’ve done all these and truly cared about yourself, your mentors and your future career… It’s time to branch out on your own (hopefully with the help of some of your mentors).

More than anything, you need to have patience. You won’t be rich next year. You have time, if you are young. Do it the right way.
