Dirty Business…

If you are strapped for cash… It’s likely on your mind most of the day.

Maybe you have a job, but it’s not paying well. Maybe you started an online business but it’s taking a while to grow… That’s normal.

An “offline” low startup cost business is something you should definitely consider.

In fact, one side hustle (home cleaning) has been paying me well for years. It started as a thing I did on weekends, and now blossomed into income on auto-pilot (with full-time employees).

So, although I love the online world and growing businesses here… A simple blue collar side hustle can make you some big bucks.

Here are the industries I’d be looking into right now:

• Home Interior/Exterior Cleaning (windows, gutters, pressure washing…etc.)

• Moving Services

• Mobile Car Detailing

• Residential Painting

• Landscaping

• Junk Removal

There are many many more. But all of these can make you over $300-$500 per day, even in the beginning. Start mingling in social media groups, do a great job and the word will spread… I’m talking from experience!

Who knows, maybe one day you’ll hire some help and make a real business out of it.

Should You Play The Lottery…

I once had a co-worker who played the lottery RELIGIOUSLY. Like multiple times a week. Like spending hundreds of dollars from his paychecks.

It was insane to me back then and it’s still insane to me now. Sorry Clint, if you are reading this (doubt it).

If you live in the States, you may be aware that the Powerball hit 1 Billion dollars again this week, and second time this year. That has never happened before.

Lot’s of people are running to buy tickets for their 1 in 292 million chance of winning. Read that again.

1….. in… 292…. million.

You are more likely to be killed by a shark SITTING on a beach than winning a lottery. But that doesn’t stop people from spending crazy amounts of money on it.

I’ve always been a believer of investing in things you can control. Why else would you throw money away?

The realization alone of the fact that most of the population that buys lottery tickets are middle class and below, should tell you something.

Tuesday Thoughts…

There is a quote by Henry Ford that’s really been on my mind today:

“When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it”

The hardest part of achieving anything extraordinary is the very beginning.

We live in a time where we are fed a belief on social media that making money and doing big things is super easy if you just… blah blah blah.

I’m sure you’ve seen and heard it. The truth is, unless you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you will struggle to get anything off the ground.

That’s just how it is… The nature of it. The competition is at the highest it’s ever been, and the attention span at its lowest.

There is no other way to break through, but to do the work and run in the same direction as fast as you can and as hard as you can.

If you outlast others, you will reap the rewards. If you give up just before your wings catch air… you’ll stay on the ground forever.
