🥕 Don't miss this trend... 📉
It’s Friday! How was your week? I feel like we are becoming best friends :)
Here’s the 3 min stack today:
🧍‍♂️ The 1 person business model
📉 Why the big companies are downsizing

The 1 person business model…
Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur or someone who has been one for years, you probably have dreamt of a growing a big business with lots of employees who handle the day-to-day while you are sipping margaritas in Bora-Bora (God I need a vacation!).
Times have changed my friend! More than ever people are waking up to Solopreneurship. They are saying goodbye to massive teams, lot’s of overhead, and trading that in for a simple stress-free life of being a one-man (or woman) show.
When you look around social media and check out the news, big companies get all the publicity. Very often, hiding behind all that is an owner (or board) who is stressed knowing that they have to keep generating revenue in order to be able to afford their big team and expenses.
We’ll do more deep dives into Solopreneurship in the coming newsletters, but for now, let’s open up your mind a bit with a story about Ben. You can find a great article here: https://growthinreverse.com/bens-bites/
Enjoy!
Why the big companies are downsizing…
Keeping with the theme of the newsletter, the big companies in the S&P 500 have been downsizing for years (see image below).
With expenses going through the roof, companies like Google, Amazon, Apple and others have figured out how to do more revenue with less labor force. They are waking up to the fact that you don’t need so many people in each department to get the work done.
Yes it’s a trend, but a trend needs to be noticed and given real thought on how it relates to your life. The future of economy as it seems, will be millions of small businesses instead of a few massive ones. This is where Solopreneurship comes in.
The more you can downsize and get really, really good at a skill… The higher the chance that you can be one of those really small businesses (company of 1, you!) that provides a service, and gets paid very well.
You got my permission…
Let’s end today with this… Thoughts for the weekend.
Take that risk and start moving, creating and executing to a higher standard
You often talk about how you want more freedom, flexibility, create more impact and have more money right?
Then to stop seeking "Permission" and just do it.
This is exactly how I shifted my life 4 years ago:
Reflected on the challenges I’ve overcome in my life
Put together an offer which solves those challenges
Kept learning and documenting my progress on social media
Sold that offer to other people who are struggling with the exact problems I once was
Delivered on my promises
Asked for referrals
Continued to learn and document my progress
I hope this got the wheels turning in your head.
I’d love to hear from you about what you’re working on. Email me back anytime!
I’ll be cheering for ya from the side.
Have a great weekend!
