🥕 "I'm taking a step back"

Happy Saturday my ol carrot.

I hope you’ve got plenty planned this weekend whether it’s spending time with loved ones, partying or simply just spending time by yourself.

I’m taking a step back…

So the past few weeks, I’ve been really reflecting on my position and wondering whether I’m truly satisfied with where I’m at in life.

Now as Entrepreneurs, I feel like we are never truly satisfied but at the same time, we have to be real with where we are at and how we feel about it.

Last week, I made a decision to take a turning I never thought I’d take again but for the benefit of the present and future opportunity, I took it.

It was a decision that I was ok with in the end but the build up to it felt like I was going backwards in my life and as an Entrepreneur yourself, you know how daunting that can be.

It means that I’m going to have to go back to working 14 hour days BUT it may only be for 30 days.

See, you might read this and think…

“Wow, working 14 hour days… screw that!”

But if you want something bad enough, you’ll make it happen and even if you need to make short term sacrifices for long term gain, then (in my opinion) it’s always worth it in the end.

So my message today here is that…

As long as you trust your intentions and you’re making the right moves to progress in life even when you feel like you’re going backwards, you’re going forwards.

Have the vision and stop at nothing until you get there… NOTHING!

It will be tough

There will be days, weeks and months where life will continuously kick you in the nuts, but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how dark it gets.

Take this weekend to reflect on where you’re at and ask yourself…

“Who do I need to become in order to achieve what I want in life?”

Start reverse engineering how that looks and turn it into tangible goals and targets.
