🥕 It’s Hard Being An Entrepreneur… 😥

It’s tough being a lot of things. But being an entrepreneur is right up there towards the top of the list.

Think about it. You have to be someone who creates income and lifestyle out of nothing. Something doesn’t exist and then you created it. That’s super tough!

What about dealing with family members? No one in my family is entrepreneurial. So growing up, I got shit from everyone about not doing good in school and not going to college. All my failures in business were laughed at and ridiculed. It feels like you are on a dark path all alone.

How about not having a solid income to rely on in the beginning of your journey?

How about having to work on your dreams late at night because you have a job?

How about losing money in business for years because you believe in your dream and not willing to give up?

How about getting screwed over by a business partner and losing it all once again?

They say it’s lonely at the top, because not many people get there. Most hang around the bottom and middle of the hill dealing with the above problems.

So if that’s you, I just want to send you some words of encouragement.

First off, you have to find people who are in the same boat you are, and ones who are a few steps ahead of you. You just HAVE TO. The amount of headaches and distractions you get from people who “don’t get it” is just not worth it.

If there is one piece of advice on the way up from me, that would be it, for sure.

The second is, you have to build good entrepreneurial habits. There are books like Atomic Habits that go into great detail about this, so I’m not going to get into it here. But if you truly want to reach the top, you have to build the habits. There is just no other way around it. You can question everything out there and why you haven’t reached success. But I can usually look at someone’s lifestyle and point out within minutes why you aren’t successful.

And third, have patience. If first 2 points are there… Just be patient. Everyone reaches success in a different way and different timeline. It’ll come.
