🥕 If I could go back... 💔

Today I have another one from “my personal diary”.

I believe one of the best way to relay a message is through personal stories.

🥕 If I Could Go back… 💔

We all reflect on our life. If you don’t, you aren’t human. There is a test below to see if you are human or not (kidding).

I don’t think there is a single person out in the universe who wouldn’t want to change something about their past.

Some sort of behavior, work, relationships…etc. That’s normal. But I also think it’s great to get a perspective from someone who has gone from basically nothing, to finding great success (insert Borat meme).

Here’s what I should of done differently when I was getting going:
  1. Should of stuck to one solid business idea. Entrepreneurs have a shiny object syndrome. And when I was younger, I tried a lot of different businesses until I finally found success in 2012. In reality, I could of done it a lot sooner. EVERY business can be successful with enough determination and patience. If your business has been done before, then you can do it also, with success. Stop jumping from business to business. Stick to one and make it successful.

  1. Should of invested/found a mentor sooner. 2012 was a great year for me because I found a mentor. It was only $1,500 for some one-on-one coaching from someone who was way further along than me. But it changed everything in my business. It’s the ultimate shortcut. I don’t know why I didn’t pull the trigger earlier.

  1. Should of saved more in the beginning. I came from nothing, so the first big money I saw, I went a little crazy. Although it was fun, the smarter thing to do was to take that money and multiply it with more ventures. This put me behind the ball a little and took me longer to get to where I am now.

  1. Should of expanded sooner. My main business in the home services niche. For years I just had one location. For the past few years I’ve started to really expand and it’s been absolutely incredible. When you have a great team/staff, it makes it pretty easy. Money multiplies quicker and you are building quite the asset that you can eventually sell. Lot’s of people hoard real estate properties. I do that with businesses.

  1. Should of delegated sooner. Your business will only grow if you are able to replace yourself. All the mundane tasks that take too much time can be done by someone earning much less. This way they can focus on excelling at that part of your business while you go take on bigger projects. I spent too many years trying to “save money” and not growing.

I hope 1 or 2 of those can help open your eyes to something you could be doing better, just like me.

I love reading about someone’s journey and pick out things that I can implement into my own life/business.
