The Trend You Can’t Miss…

This shift is so quiet, you might of missed it.

If you follow company IPOs, you’ll know that Reddit just went public at the New York Stock Exchange. And they are absolutely going bonkers. The price basically doubled in just a few days and lot’s of investors are very happy. In fact the stock increase added an additional 1 billion dollars to the value of Reddit.

Now… why am I (an absolute trend nerd) giving this company first place priority on the newsletter this morning?

You see trends happen very quietly, until they get to the point where you can’t ignore them and you are living in the middle of it.

Those who are able to catch on quickly reap all the rewards.

It’s been softly spoken about that more and more people are turning away from just pictures and videos on social media… but they also WANT TO READ. What?!?!

That’s right. Consumer fatigue is real and people reminisce about old times. You are seeing an absolute rise in X (twitter), written posts on social channels, newsletters, blogs and of course the “re-birth” of Reddit.

So if you are an introvert and are a good writer or copywriter, this maybe the times you were looking for. Put your thoughts and ideas out there and watch your audience grow.

Dumb And Dumber…

Have you ever taken an IQ test? There are lots of them online and within minutes you can compare your brain against other brains around the world.

You are either going to feel stupid, basically average, or surprisingly smart!

Please don’t send me angry emails saying that you took the test and wish you didn’t haha…

But let’s go over some interesting wordly IQ test results.

Smartest country according to the test? JAPAN.

Dumbest? INDIA (don’t shoot the messenger).

What about the United States?

Smartest State? NEW HAMPSHIRE

Dumbest? ALABAMA

Some of you are probably sitting there saying “yea I could of told you that without the IQ test”. Sheesh! The shade.

I absolutely love hearing your opinions on the newsletter and the content in general.

That’s why when I see messages like this one (below), I stop and do some serious reflecting.
