That’s if you don’t work weekends.

I genuinely hope you’re doing well and have enjoyed this week so far.

Do you like apples? 🍎

Whether you do or don’t… you definitely don’t like rotten ones

Let’s talk about your environment.

Yes, I know this isn’t one of those reads that teaches you how to make a million dollars in five seconds, but stay with me here.

This read today is more of a reflection exercise.

So are you ready for some reflection real quick?

Cool, let’s get started.

I’d like to begin this reflection exercise by asking a few simple questions.

How would you rate your environment right now from 1 to 10? (10 being the best)

How would you rate the quality of people you surround yourself with?

How would you rate the quality of your workstation?

How would you rate the inputs you allow into your mind?

How would you rate maybe some of the distractions you allow in around you?

The reason I ask these questions, is because your environment is vital to your success.

Let me give you an analogy.

In fact… let me give you an apple.

A beautiful, juicy apple.

Now what would happen if you placed that exact apple in a bunch of rotten apples?

Wanna take a guess?

What’s that?

It would go rotten?

Of course it would.

Why?

Because the rot would spread whether that juicy apple liked it or not.

So let me ask you…

Are you that juicy apple surrounding yourself with rot?

This could be friends.

This could be family members.

This could be partners.

This could be your workstation.

This could be your morning inputs.

If so, why?

Eventually that rot will eat you alive and you’ll crumble to dust.

So this is a gentle nudge / reminder to just sit for a moment and think about who and what is around you bringing you down.
